Progress at Virgin Galactic?

In case you’ve been living in a rock for the last four years Richard Branson has been changing the world of space travel with his company Virgin Galactic.

Based in Las Cruces New Mexico, Virgin Galactic has given average people the opportunity to take a sub-orbital flight over the earth and get a taste of what space travel is all about.

Costs

Tickets for a Virgin Galactic flight are not cheap by any means; one ticket costs $200,000 and requires a $20,000 deposit. For this price the ticket holder will be treated to a flight that will last almost four hours and give passengers the opportunity to experience six minutes of weightlessness.

Sub-orbital flights are nothing new to astronauts and pilots who have been pushing the boundaries of earth’s gravity for decades. For those people who can afford the high ticket price they will finally be able to stop dreaming about what it would be like to be an astronaut and actually live out their fantasy for a few hours.

Advancements in Technology

Thanks to the innovative leadership of Richard Branson commercial space travel is quickly becoming a reality. What once seemed like a dream that was left in the hands of governments like the United States, Russia and China is now quickly gaining momentum and Virgin Galactic now has five commercial space ships ready to take to the skies.

Besides leading the advancement in commercial space travel, Virgin Galactic is also collaborating with U.S. space agency NASA and signed a memorandum of understanding which laid the framework for future projects in the years to come.

What’s next for Virgin Galactic?

Richard Branson has never been known as a man to stay in one place. Once Virgin Galactic commences regular commercial space flights many people speculate that his next stop will be the moon. Branson has been repeatedly quoted over the years as saying that he hopes to build hotels on the moon and many people who grew up watching TV shows like Star Trek will most likely be eager to book reservations.

Do you have an iPhone or any of other type of smart phone? If so, not only do you have a great mobile PC that you can take with you anywhere you go, you also have an online casino site at your fingertips.
Over the last ten years online casino gaming has really taken off thanks to smart phones and Wi-Fi enabled tablets.

How to Stretch Your Money Further

Always choose an online casino that offers a sign up or welcome casino bonus of $200 or more just for signing up with their casino. Even though this is a lure to get you to spend money, many experienced gamblers will know how to stretch the bonus and keep playing longer.

Who Are The Winners?

One of the most important parts about choosing an online casino is seeing who the latest winners are with that casino. This step is important because, if there are no winners listed, there is a good chance that you won’t win any money either.

Game Variety

You may love playing blackjack or poker online but, you don’t want to play those games all the time do you? The solution to the problem is to choose any online casino that offers a wide variety or mix of games like: card games, action games and slots games.

Compatibility

You may not have the latest iPhone but that shouldn’t stop you from playing your favorite casino games online. You should search for an online casino that is compatible with all major smart phones like: Android, HTC and Blackberry so you can play your favorite casino games regardless of your device. There are lots of online casinos for mac. Just do your research to find the right site for your needs.

Security

Last of all, but most important is the topic of security. With any online casino that you choose, make sure that you choose one that is 100% secure and features the lock icon on their website. This means that they can be trusted with your personal information and can be trusted.

Protecting Your Skin From Your Stargazing Sessions

Posted in Uncategorized on November 15th, 2011 by admin

Star gazing is becoming increasingly popular and being enjoyed by more people today than ever before. But depending on where you do your star gazing, you could be damaging your skin in the process.

 Loving the Outdoors

Night time star gazing in the middle of summer is a wonderful opportunity to sit behind your telescope with a cold drink and survey the world’s around you. But once the weather starts to turn and it gets cold outside a jacket and a hat aren’t going to do much in the way of protecting the skin on your face and hands. Cold temperatures zap moisture from your skin so be sure to hydrate not only externally but internally as well. Drink plenty of water and moisturize your skin with treatments that contain as few unnatural products as possible.

Baby It’s Cold Outside

Once it gets too cold to sit outside and star gaze it’s time to move indoors. But being indoors in the winter can mean blasting hot heaters. Nothing dries out your skin quite like blasting hot air so once again, hydrate. Drink water!

I truly don’t know how many stars you will see during the day but should you point your telescope heavenward during the day don’t even think about doing it without sunscreen.
